Well, here I am with the knife in my mouth...

I was going to use this picture in my next work, but yesterday I started playing with it (testing filters black/white, cutting ...) and then, mysteriously, disappeared the original photo in color...

, so I had to take another picture for my work..
I leave this woman passionate here, maybe some lost soul want coloring it, or take it as a reference..., or try to fix destroyed photos!

Anyway, only credit and link

you might want to check out a few clips of Angela Gheorghiu
on youtube.... you are one her apotheosis's - one of 'em at least.....
she was a more traditional artist mostly but almost as skilled
as you digitally - not at your level though....
If I may ask,
do you sing? ...had musical training? ....silly question, eh?
Not the first time someone say my work is reminds of this wonderful soprano, but so far I haven't seen it, the truth is that I have much curiosity .. this is a big compliment to me ..
hihi .. your question .. is not silly!
Thanks again for your kind comment
if I may ask?
Of course, you would probably make a great Carmen!
Do you like that Opera??
Angela G told me she actually hated it, because she was always being asked to perform it, but just couldn't get into the role - I did not believe her. I think the real reason is that it oput of her range, which is high enough that a mezzo role for a few hours is too tough.
Nopmnetheless, she can and does sing a few of the
famous arias from the piece, and more, IN THE STUDIO...
or just one or two in recital....never the whole opera
on stage....she _is_ getting a bit old for the part, although she still looks fabulous to males like me...
However, Opera directors only want the youngest and prettiest and cheapest....she told me that, and that is one thing she said that is very credible...actually she was very credible -- it was probably me discussing
verboten subjects (her art!) backstage with her, that caused her top abandon me very abruptly - strange as that sounds...I have witnesses!
Yes, I like Carmen! I've heard her singing "La Traviata" and "Granada", though I suppose you're right, the whole "Carmen" must be really hard!
I would like to see some of her art ... maybe someday she appears for DA again!
